ISAAC MOHAN RAJ, CHA brings along with him a vast experience of 25 years in the hospitality industry, specializing in the food and beverage department. He is currently a General Manager in a resort in Port Dickson. He is well known in the hotel circle as a dynamic, task achiever and passionate hotelier.
Starting his career humbly in Pelangi Beach Resort Langkawi; and along the way moving to other properties and holding management positions, Isaac is eager to share his knowledge and experiences in the industry. Besides being in the hospitality industry he has also brings about a track record of experience in both operational and sales areas in various resorts & hotels namely Hotel Istana Kuala Lumpur; Palace of the Golden Horses KL; Glory Beach Resort PD. His strength is in the areas of F&B; Sales, Events and Security & Safety. He has facilitated numerous in house trainings & workshops as a trainer and guest speaker.
To enhance his professional qualification, he has obtained a CERTIFIED HOTEL ADMINISTRATOR (CHA) from the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI) in 2015. He also holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration (Hons) and a Diploma in Hotel Management and has attended 24 courses organized in following areas (Train The Trainer, DISC Personality Profile for Leadership & Team Building, Understanding Personality & Enhancing Problem Solving Skills, ISO 9001: 2000 – Internal Quality Auditing Course, Industrial Relations at the Workplace, Relationship Marketing, The Psychology of Selling, Strategic Negotiation for Profit, 16. Mid – Management Development Programme, Power of Selling).
He joined Hotel Istana as the Banquet Service Manager and was promoted top Banquet Sales Manager and eventually Director of Catering & Conventions in 1998. He left to join Palace of the Golden Horses as Director of Sales & Catering. He was awarded the Best Employee – Department Head Category for outstanding work. Redesignated to Director of MICE – Focus on MICE related events as future direction of hotel & MINES group and promoted to Director of F&B in June 2010 overseeing six F&B outlets and total of 210 staffs including kitchen, steward, F&B artists & audio visual department and also spearheaded the Hotel Wellness/Green Campaign, SOP, ISO 9001:2000 & Halal Projects & CIMB PGA Golf.
He is currently the General Manager in Glory Beach Resort. He is ready to share his knowledge and vast experience in the hotel industry with those who wish to pursue a career in the hotel industry.
