M Para is a certified trainer for Interaction Management Program by Dimension Development International, US. He is also accredited as Omni View job suitability profiler. He graduated from University of Wales, UK and holds MBA and Diploma in Human Resources from University of Leicester, UK.
He has 15 years of experience in the Human Resources field primarily in the hotel industry. He has held the position of Director of Human Resources in local and international hotel chain. Prior to consulting work he was the Group Director of Human Resources for a hospitality division of a leading local conglomerate. During this period he undertook projects such as re-branding, restructuring, introducing complex organization structure, implemented performance management system using balanced scorecard concept, implemented talent strategies and, etc.
In the consulting business he has worked with manufacturing, hospitality and healthcare industries. He has developed and conducted programs such as leadership, coaching, talent management, performance management, change management, strategic management, Train-The-Trainer, and other people related programs. He has been appointed as the Training Needs Analysis Project Consultant for hotels by Malaysian Association of Hotels Training and Education Center (MAHTEC) under the SME scheme by HRDB.
He has developed and conducted a program entitled “Pathways To Performance’ to developed positive personal attributes and leadership skills for high performance. He has undertaken projects such as Training Needs Analysis, Developing and Implementing Performance Management System and Strategic Management.
