Mr Zulkifli Adam is a HRDF Certified Trainer (TTT) and JPK Certified Vocational Training Officer (VTO). He has wide experiences in Hotel Operation and F & B Management for many years, both locally and overseas. He had the opportunity to work for about 4 years in Austria (Europe) and 2 years in USA. He started his career in a fine dining restaurant at a 5 Star Hotel Bristol in Salzburg. After which, he had a stint as a Kitchen Helper in a Spa resort at Bad Hofgastein and as a Waiter/Bartender/Cashier at a Ski resort in Zell am See, both in the Province of Salzburg, Austria. He then moved to the 579 rooms 5 Star Wien (Vienna) Hilton at Am Stadtpark, Vienna, Austria working in various F & B outlets (Room Service/Minibar/Banquet/Beverage) for 2 years. In New Haven, Connecticut, USA, he worked as a Salad Bar Attendant at the Bonanza Steakhouse and as a Steward at App’s Ristorante, an Italian restaurant.
Back in Malaysia, Zulkifli was a Management Trainee at the KL Hilton. He moved up in his career in Banquet Sales and F & B Management at the KL Hilton, Kuching Hilton and Hotel Istana. He was the Director of Food & Beverage at the Shangri- La Putrajaya, Impiana KLCC Hotel and Spa and at the Berjaya Tioman Island Resort, Tioman Island, one of the World’s most beautiful islands.
Zulkifli was a Graduate with a Diploma from ITM (UITM) Hotel School, Shah Alam and from the Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management in Salzburg, Austria. He holds a Bsc Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of New Haven, Connecticut, USA and an MBA in General Management from the Charles Sturt University, Australia.
He had also attended a seven (7) week professional certificate program in Food and Beverage Management, Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, USA. Zulkifli is recognized Perakuan Pakar Industri Negara, Hospitality and Tourism from JPK Malaysia.
Currently, Zulkifli also sits on the board for UPM International Sdn Bhd as well as a Consultant for Subak Restaurant at Bukit Lanjan, Sungei Penchala, Kuala Lumpur.
