CERTIFICATE IN RESTAURANT MARKETING
This module describes the process of planning, implementing and evaluating restaurant and food and beverage promotions.
Learning Outcome
Upon completion of the program, participants will be able to
- Define and explain marketing and the major tenets of marketing marketing concept, the four Ps of marketing, marketing mix, and product life cycle
- Explain the role of marketing plays in determining products and services
- Determine the steps in the marketing research process
- Define target market and describe the characteristics of a useful target market
- Define market positioning and value proposition and explain why they are important
Certificate Assessment Criteria
As with most structured learning experiences, participants in the Certificate program will have to successfully meet the requirements for certification as
follows:
- Achieve 100% attendance for each module
- Successfully complete all project work, assignments & tests.

Who Should Attend
These programs are designed for industry personnel who has experience in a hotel or tourism related organization and holds at least a supervisory position.
Time
Registration starts at 8.30 am on the first day. Classes start at 9 am end 5 pm. Breaks will be served at appropriate times.
Cancellation & Transfer
Please note that should this registration is cancelled fourteen (14) days before the day of the training, a 50% cancellation charge will be imposed. If cancellation is made seven (7) days before the training, full payment of the training will be levied. Please note that amendments can only be made to above arrangement by giving a minimum of three (3) working days’ notice.
