The evening proudly celebrated the remarkable achievements of participants at the MAH 3rd Hotel Management Grand Prix (MGP) 2026, a prestigious initiative organised by the Malaysian Association of Hotels in collaboration with Taylor’s University and Russel Partnership Technology.
Now in its third edition, the competition continues to serve as a dynamic platform for nurturing and developing future hospitality leaders through an immersive hotel management simulation programme. Participants were challenged to demonstrate strategic thinking, leadership, operational excellence, and effective decision-making skills within a competitive environment that mirrors real-world hospitality industry scenarios.

The MAH Hotel Management Grand Prix is also one of the four key modules under the MAH x Taylor’s Professional Hotel Certification programme. This newly established collaboration represents a significant milestone in introducing a home-grown Malaysian professional hotel certification programme designed specifically to elevate industry standards and strengthen talent development within the hospitality sector.
Through this initiative, the programme aims to equip hospitality professionals with industry-relevant knowledge, practical exposure, leadership competencies, and globally aligned operational skills. With the successful implementation of the programme, the MAH x Taylor’s Professional Hotel Certification is now ready to be introduced and expanded nationwide, providing valuable learning and upskilling opportunities for hospitality talents across Malaysia.
