The Malaysian Association of Hotels Training and Education Center (MAHTEC) proudly recognises the outstanding achievements of students from HELP University’s School of Hospitality and Tourism, who showcased exceptional skills and professionalism at the Malaysia Culinaire 2025 and MAHIR Housekeeping Competitions held in conjunction with Food & Hospitality Malaysia (FHM) 2025 from 23rd to 25th September 2025.
As one of the key supporting associations for the event, MAHTEC commends the efforts of institutions like HELP University in nurturing young talents who demonstrate industry-ready competencies and innovation — qualities that are vital for the growth and sustainability of Malaysia’s hospitality and tourism sectors.

HELP University participants secured top honours across multiple categories:
Bed Making Competition (Individual Junior) – Champion: James Ng Jia Yu
Mocktail Competition – Gold Medal: Howard Chong Zhan Hao
Malaysian Local Fruit Caramelization & Flambé – Gold Medal: Alvin Wong Min Juin
